Hey guys, gays, and gworls! I’m back at it like a crack addict with a review on all things Apple TV+!
So Friday, November 1st, Apple has started its very own streaming service called Apple TV+. It’s not a special name like Peacock, but majority of these streaming services now just adds a “+” sign to it. Apple TV+ has original shows with some of our favorite actors and actresses. Some notable ones such as Jennifer Aniston, Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, Steve Carell, Hailey Steinfield, and more.
When the news dropped that Apple was starting its own streaming service, I was a bit… not interested. But as time went by, a lot of their content they were planning on releasing started to catch my eye, such as ‘See’, ‘The Morning Show’, ‘Dickinson’ (currently watching), ‘For All Mankind’, and a few other shows. They even have a Sesame Street spinoff and a live Oprah’s Book Club. Now that it has dropped, I can now say that I’m underwhelmed. That doesn’t mean I hate it, I just expected more.
The film production, the lineup, and the promotions for this service were phenomenal… I just wished that they kept that same energy. The reviews for these shows are coming in, and they’re not so good (big yikes)! Although the shows are receiving bad reviews, I’m not going to let that stop me from watching because everyone’s tv taste buds are different, and professional critics give some not-so-professional reviews.
Do you have Apple TV+ or looking at picking up Apple TV+? If so, what show(s) are you most hype to watch? Tell me below in the comments! Apple TV+ is available on all streaming devices for the price of $4.99 a month or $50 a year.
