Titans – The Lazarus Contract

Hey guys, gays, and gworls! I’m back, and I’m ready to dive deep into DC Comics’ The Lazarus Contract.”

Deathstroke wants to bring his son, Grant Wilson, back to life who died to the same experiment that made him the Ravager. Slade is willing to go at great lengths to bring his son back, and he’s willing to risk it all by time-traveling to the past. That puts the lives of the two Wally West at risk for a contract that should not be reaped!

What I loved about this story arc is that it dove deeper into the Wilson family lore and just how messed up the family as a whole is. Everyone in that family is just as crazy except for the bro man Jericho. It’s crazy how even with Slade time-travelling his partner knows that it’s doomed to be a failed mission because of Slade himself. He explains how Slade struggles with intimacy among his friends and family.

It was great to also see the Titans and the Teen Titans group up together to solve this threat! It’s crazy how Slade made a contract with Dick and Dick followed through up until he couldn’t follow through no more. The contract was Dick would keep Slade’s daughter, Rose, safe and raise her to be nothing like her father. Since Dick failed to do that, Slade cashed in on his contract and decided to try to bring his son back to life using the speed force from both of the Wally Wests.

I don’t want to spoil much so gon’ and read these issues to see how the story turns out!
